CineDesk Pro is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that handles the daily operational and financial workflow of cinema theaters - built specifically for the Indian cinema industry. It replaces manual spreadsheet-based reporting with an automated, auditable system for daily collection reports (DCR), tax computations, and distributor settlement.
Property & Screen Management
Manage multiple theater properties under a single account. Each property maintains its own screens, seat capacities, screen types (A/C, Non A/C, Dolby, IMAX), tax configurations, and user assignments. Properties are fully isolated at the data layer for multi-tenant security.
Daily Collection Reports (DCR)
Record show-level box-office data per screen - ticket ranges, sold counts, complimentary passes, and gross rates. The DCR engine automatically computes nett collection, applicable taxes (SGST, CGST, CESS, Entertainment Tax, Service Charge), and revenue splits between distributors and exhibitors with configurable deduction rules.
Invoice Generation & Lifecycle
Finalized reports generate sequenced invoice numbers in {PROPERTY_CODE}/{INDIAN_FY}/{SEQ} format (e.g., SAR/2025-26/001). Reports follow a structured lifecycle - Draft, Finalize, Archive - with clone and archive-and-clone workflows for efficient daily operations. Finalized invoices are immutable for audit compliance.
PDF Reports & Export
Download formatted PDF reports for any daily collection period. Reports include full breakdowns of show-level data, tax computations, and revenue splits - ready for distributor submission or internal audit.
Role-Based Access Control
Three-tier access model - Super Admin, Property Admin, and User - with property-level isolation. Property Admins manage their own screens and reports without visibility into other properties.
Technical Stack
Built with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Multi-tenant architecture with row-level security. REST API backend with JWT authentication. Deployed on cloud infrastructure with automated backups and SSL encryption.
